Week Five: Nearly There
Objectives:
- Assemble faux houses
- Attach houses to the main structure
- Paint
This week I finally got to the fun part. The little library is almost done. I picked out the paint colors and where I want them to go. I bought the supplies for the door, which is the last part of the project. It was a relief to get the faux houses attached. It was intimidating until I got started. Without the houses, it felt like I would not finish on time. However, this part was a breeze. I have gotten the experience from building the main house to put the small ones together quickly.

- Paint inside of the library
- Cut and attach roof
- Measure faux house pieces
- Cut faux house pieces
Starting out, I attached the sides and roof of the house. Before painting, I caulked the corners and used wood filler to cover the screws. Funny moment, while I was caulking

Week Three: Getting into the Rhythm
Objectives:
- Attach main structure sides
- Paint inside of the library
- Cut and attach roof
- Measure faux house pieces
Everything went more smoothly this week. It was satisfying to get into the rhythm now that I have cut, glued, and screwed several pieces. Repetition improves the process and overall confidence in my new skills.

Week One - Making Expectations & Goals
Making: Expectations and Goals
Over the next six weeks, I will be making a little library from mostly scrap materials and borrowed tools. My inspiration in the Weasley's home, "the Burrow," from the Harry Potter book series.
